At this year's MAX Awards, PB Comms won Agency of the year, a category voted by the Financial Standard editorial team. The award recognises agencies specialising in media, public relations or creative services that have driven strong growth and measurable results for their financial services clients. A big congratulations to the whole PB Comms team for always going above and beyond.
We recently held another of our financial services roundtables -this time in Sydney – with executives from financial services companies, and journalists who report on the industry, who all provided their view on the financial landscape.
In attendance was GSFM’s Stephen Miller, FAAA’s Sarah Abood, HLBMann Judd’s Lindzi Caputo and Ten Cap’s Jason Todd. The media was represented with journalists from The Australian Financial Review, Professional Planner, Bloomberg and Capital Brief.
A variety of topics were canvassed including a macroeconomic overview from Stephen, an update on the state of play in the financial advice profession from Sarah, the share market outlook and its impact on the economy from Jason and what Lindzi is seeing from her financial advice clients, in the lead up to June 30.
Overall, it was another great discussion, providing the opportunity for market commentators, and media, to provide a view on what they are seeing in the financial services industry.
