Early Bird tickets to this year’s Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Congress are now available, with those who buy tickets early also having an exclusive opportunity to purchase seats in the ‘FAAA Bay’ for Day 1 and 2 of the Perth Ashes Test at Optus Stadium.

The 2025 FAAA Congress will take place at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 November 2025.

FAAA CEO Sarah Abood says Congress is a must-attend event for financial advisers, providing them with access to a comprehensive agenda of workshops and specialist sessions designed for those in the financial planning profession.

“As always, this year’s program is designed with our members at heart. We are focusing on providing the tools and information that address the critical technical and regulatory challenges facing our profession to ensure our members stay ahead of the curve and also offering plenty of opportunities for advisers to connect with their industry peers and other professionals from all over the country and overseas," Ms Abood said.

“Our goal is for every attendee to not only have a great time but also return to their practices energised and with fresh ideas to implement into their own businesses in 2026.”

A major highlight of this year’s Congress will be the closing session featuring cricket legend Adam Gilchrist. Considered by many as the greatest wicketkeeper-batsman in history, the former Australian vice-captain will share insights from his decorated playing career, his transition to commentary, and his philanthropic work around the world.

The Congress agenda also includes sessions on regulatory updates, leadership in financial advice, innovative client engagement strategies, and navigating compliance in a changing landscape. Industry experts will share practical insights on streamlining advice processes, enhancing client communication, and preparing for future reforms.

Attendees can also look forward to a range of exclusive events, including the Pre-Congress Soirée featuring Kav Temperley from Eskimo Joe, the FAAA Awards Gala Dinner celebrating excellence in the profession, the CFP® Professional Connect Breakfast on Tuesday, and the FAAA Community Breakfast on Wednesday, which will spotlight the Inspire and Gen Next Communities.

Early Bird pricing is available until 30 September 2025, with tickets for FAAA members at $1,210 and non-members at $2,345.

“With an FAAA practitioner membership costing just $615, this means becoming a member will more than cover the difference in a ticket to Congress," Ms Abood said.

“Renewals are now open for the 2026 financial year, and it’s a great time for those considering joining the FAAA to sign up and take advantage of events such as Congress at substantially advantaged pricing.”
